As Head of Sponsorships at VNTR, you will be responsible for shaping and leading the strategy for sponsorship acquisition, partnerships, and ongoing relationships with high-level sponsors. This role will directly contribute to the growth and development of VNTR's network by creating value-driven sponsorship opportunities across our investment syndicate and community. You'll work closely with the events, marketing, and investment teams to develop tailored sponsorship packages that align with the interests of global investors, startups, and venture capital players.

This is a strategic and hands-on role that requires excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. You will be the driving force behind partnerships that provide both financial support and strategic value to VNTR and its ecosystem.

Responsibilities
  • Develop Sponsorship Strategy: Design and execute a comprehensive sponsorship strategy for VNTR, including events, programs, and community initiatives.
  • Identify and Secure Sponsors: Identify potential sponsors, cultivate relationships, and secure sponsorship agreements with leading corporations, investors, and brands aligned with VNTR's mission.
  • Tailored Sponsorship Packages: Create custom sponsorship packages that align with the goals and objectives of VNTR’s events and initiatives.
  • Manage Sponsor Relationships: Serve as the primary point of contact for sponsors, ensuring seamless communication, alignment of expectations, and delivery of agreed sponsorship benefits.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the events, investment, and marketing teams to ensure the integration of sponsorship activities into VNTR's overall strategy.
  • Track and Report Performance: Measure and report the impact of sponsorship activities, including financial performance and brand alignment.
  • Create Innovative Opportunities: Innovate sponsorship experiences for both sponsors and the VNTR community, providing high-value touchpoints through events, content, and online platforms.
  • Maximize Sponsor Value: Ensure that all sponsors receive maximum value through exposure, networking opportunities, and integration with VNTR’s community initiatives.
  • Leverage International Network: Use VNTR's global investor network to attract multinational sponsors and develop global sponsorship opportunities.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in sponsorship sales, business development, or partnerships, ideally in the venture capital, events, or startup ecosystem.
  • Strong track record of securing high-value sponsorships and partnerships.
  • Experience developing sponsorship packages and managing sponsor relationships, ensuring the delivery of promised outcomes.
  • A strong understanding of venture capital, startups, or investments is a plus.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple sponsor relationships concurrently and maintain a high level of professionalism.
  • Confidence in working with senior executives and decision-makers from a range of industries.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage timelines and multiple projects effectively.
  • Proficiency in CRM software, Google Workspace, and LinkedIn.
